Art in public space [KÖR 25] exhibition identity
Art in Public Space Tyrol [KÖR, Kunst im öffentlichen Raum] is a multifaceted program exploring the role of community within contested public spaces. The 2025 program, ‘Störfaktoren’ [Disruptive Factors] confronts the traditional Tyrolean Alpine idyll.
The identity unifies four subversive artistic interventions under a visual language as urgent as the works themselves. By turning the collateral itself into an interference within the public sphere, the design actively participates in the disruption.
Muted, earthy olive brown backgrounds are punctured by vibrating, neon red meshes of interconnected lines pulsing with visual noise. The artists’ names are simultaneously obscured and amplified by the pattern, functioning as structural barriers that the viewer must navigate. Titles, set in Geist Mono, visually stutter — a graphic disruption that intentionally obstructs legibility and forces a closer look.
