The Cabin Branding + Identity
The Cabin is a serene Tyrolean holiday home offering a taste of slow living within an alpine forest environment. It is located just off the beaten path near the major resort town of Seefeld in Tirol.
The interior design studio Dear Udo envisioned a modern, minimalist retreat that retains the feel and warmth of a traditional alpine cabin. Their goal was to create a calm and open space that encourages guests to slow down, relax, refocus on the essentials and reconnect with nature. Using local materials and traditional construction techniques, they established a dialogue between contemporary design and alpine nature.
The Cabin’s identity reflects both its minimalist essence and its natural surroundings: a clear-cut, precise and reduced mark, a clear layout structure and an uncluttered space. These elements, paired with the proportional sans-serif typeface Space Grotesk, are combined with a warm colour palette inspired by the alpine scenery.
Drawing inspiration by the work of the iconic Tyrolean graphic designer Arthur Zelger, I designed and illustrated a series of custom posters for the interior.
