Art in public space [KÖR 24] event identity
Art in Public Space Tyrol [KÖR, Kunst im öffentlichen Raum] is a multifaceted program of exhibitions and initiatives exploring the role of community within contested public spaces. The project embraces both natural and technological forms to reflect the transformative nature of public spaces. Both the 2024 featured artworks and the visual identity are designed to collectively coax unexpected play and interaction within shared spaces.
The expressive and bold typographic identity adapts across different mediums with confidence. It is designed to encourage dialogue and inspire innovation — consciously expressing the project’s enthusiasm for pushing boundaries and creating new collaborative environments.
The variable and reactive custom logotype evokes a sense of modern technology and sophisticated machinery. Driven by motion, participation and interaction, it brings together geometric forms and spaces without fully synthesizing them — a deliberate choice for outlining contemporary, forward-thinking spaces that offer fresh perspectives and promote inclusivity across all platforms.
Together with the dynamic logotype, the variable sans-serif typeface ‘Inter’ navigates every space it finds itself in with rationality and flexibility, while a monochromatic palette provides consistency and calmness, creating the necessary room for a playful and interactive space.
